Dakota Certified Development Corporation is proud to announce Dakota WE, a gathering of women entrepreneurs; sessions will take place in June in Bismarck, Fargo and Minot. Dakota WE is a free program responding to the developmental needs of the women entrepreneurs in Dakota CDC’s area. It is offered to women who own a business, women who want to own a business, women with a home based business wanting to expand and women interested in business.

Dakota WE will work with the talents and ideas of women to achieve their entrepreneurial goals. The program will consist of marketing, building relationships, branding, finding your niche and discussing best practices for women in business. The small group setting will offer an opportunity for participants to meet and listen to other women entrepreneurs.

“In an effort to foster and support women achievements in business, we have developed the Dakota WE initiative to further encourage and grow women entrepreneurs throughout North Dakota and western Minnesota,” said Dakota CDC President/CEO, Steve Dusek.

Pat McGill, founder of WE, is the program facilitator. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota. She is also a former middle school teacher and adjunct professor of human relations. As a member of the National Speakers Association, Pat presents professional development keynotes and workshops on topics such as change, leadership and relationship building. She is a business owner and a published author.
