Center for Technology & Business Now Offering Online Courses

Center for Technology & Business (CTB) is pleased to announce it now has a program that makes it easy for you to take high-quality, noncredit online courses no matter where you are located. Through a partnership with ed2go, CTB offers hundreds of courses on just about every topic.

CTB operates the Women’s Business Center for North Dakota and provides computer training and technical assistance to businesses and individuals across the state. Many of the women businesses that CTB serves are looking for flexible training options that allow them to learn remotely and around their unique schedules. The new ed2go classes will fit the needs of these current and aspiring business owners.

Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction, and interaction with fellow students, you’ll gain valuable knowledge at your convenience. You’ll have the flexibility to study at your own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. The courses can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each six-week online course start monthly, with two lessons released weekly (for a total of 12). Each high-quality course includes comprehensive lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a discussion area. Dedicated instructors facilitate every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.

Popular course titles include: Accounting Fundamentals, Performing Payroll in QuickBooks, Understanding the Human Resources Function, Employment Law Fundamentals, and Introduction to Microsoft Excel. New courses are introduced monthly, so there’s surely something to fit your needs.

All ND certified women owned businesses can take classes at a reduced rate.  To learn more, contact Center for Technology & Business at 701-223-0707 or visit www.ed2go.com/ndwbc.
